Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Job Announcement:
This individual will be a member of a team responsible for the day to day operations of purchasing, inventory control, and file maintenance for the maintenance department in a production facility. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and will work closely with the Safety Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and Close ‘Completed’ Work Orders and Develop a Case History for each piece of equipment
Purchasing – Establish/Maintain relationships with vendors, orders parts/supplies, enter purchase requests into MP2, generate purchase orders, receive parts/supplies and complete/close out POs.
PM Generation - Generate PM Tasks each week; Maintain PM calendar monthly
Cycle Count, Month End Inventory and Obsolete Inventory - Maintain schedule of monthly Cycle Count and ensure completion of Inventory reporting for month end
Update Budget Tracking Spreadsheet
Payment Process Flow, Pricing Issues & Kickouts - Work with Accounting to resolve Invoice issues and respond to requests in a timely manner; Process Contractor Invoicing for timely payment
Allocate p-Card transactions to appropriate charge codes, monthly.
Storeroom Inventory Control – Establish and Maintain min/max levels for necessary spare parts
Coordinate Forklift Repairs - Confirm charges with the Reliability Manager
Establish min/max levels and order Safety supplies as necessary to meet Safety and Health requirements
Contractor Safety Requirements updated annually or when new contractors are introduced
Obtain and File Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance annually
Track and Post Safety Work Order Data for Plant Personnel
We are looking for candidates that possess:
HS Diploma or GED Required
Some college Required
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
All candidates must submit to an oral drug screen and criminal background check prior to beginning work and are subject to random drug screening.
Shift and Pay:
1st shift – Monday - Friday 8am – 5:00pm + OT
Pay is commensurate with experience
Employees that excel, meet attendance and productivity requirements, are eligible for hire after 90 days.
About the Company:
Georgia Pacific RPC Wash Facility is located in Southeast Memphis, operating 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, washing and shipping RPC’s (Reusable Plastic Containers) to customers across the nation.
