Must have proven experience developing ETL processes utilizing Oracle 8/9i PL/SQL programming, sql scripts and Unix scripts. Should have strong database skills in an Oracle DB environment
Perform table and interface design, development of logical and physical data model/database, ETL processes and tuning of databases/ETL processes/BI reports/queries while meeting business/user requirements
Demonstrate skill proficiency developing complex Cognos 7.0 IWR reports (standard reports, list reports, drill through reports and report filters) and Cognos Impromptu catalogs.
Should be able to upgrade, compile and publish reports.
Experience working in Power Play Enterprise Server environment, developing Transformer cubes and Power Play web reports.
Provide project, system and other technical documentation as required
Perform detailed quality assurance of all work products, reconciling the finalized report/analysis against the source(s)
Must operate with urgency, focus and discipline and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
