Job Description:

Understand customer criteria and the types of information that are important to the customer.Clear understanding of regulatory sources, jurisdictions and their implications.
Good keyboarding skills.
Has a good grasp of English grammar, spelling, sentence construction, and editing, with the ability to construct abstracts from news articles that are in compliance with copyright laws. Good writing skills are a must!
Ability to communicate with customers in Brokerage terminology.
Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment in order to meet customer service level agreements.
Has the ability to handle fast pace telephone inquiry process, providing clients with immediate feedback.
Basic skill level of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities:
Receives, understands and conducts analysis of inquiries received from customers to determine the existence of risk relevant data.
Performs false positive review of potential matches and eliminate unqualified hits using sound decisioning logic and client criteria.
Completes diagnoses of each news article or data feed, discerning the appropriate degree of pertinent information to be captured for identified subject categories (fraud, terrorism, etc.)
Composes clear concise alerts to the customer base that summarize risk relevant activities to assist client decisioning.
Fosters a working relationship with clients through daily interaction to understand the customers business challenges and needs.
Builds trust and confidence with clients by assuming a relationship management role.
Contacts CDC member firms to ascertain status of previously reported FCRA data prior to alerting, which ensures that current, complete and accurate information is reported
Documents detailed historical record of alerts provided to clientele to ensure audit trail functionality and meet FCRA and Patriot Act requirements.
Receives and handles sensitive ad-hoc customer inquiries through various non-automated channels, providing immediate summary of risk relevant activities.
